Where do you offer delivery?

I offer delivery within 15 miles of SK8 which covers most of Manchester and Cheshire areas.

Delivery is charged at 75p per mile for the return journey with a minimum charge of £15.  Sunday or bank holiday deliveries may be subject to a surcharge.  

Can I pick up my cake?

Of course, you are welcome to pick up your cake. Please ensure this is clearly stated in your booking form. For your convenience, care instructions will be provided upon pick-up, ensuring you know exactly how to handle and store your cake to keep it fresh.

Do you post your cakes / cookies?

While I cannot post my cakes, I can arrange for cookies to be posted to any UK address.

Parcels weighing up to 20Kg will be sent with Royal Mail Tracked 24h.

Postage cost (to include post and secure packaging) is as below

Parcels up to 2kg - £6.00

Parcels 2kg-10kg - £9.00

Shipping days are Monday to Thursday (public holidays are excluded).

How should I store and serve my cake?

All cakes should be served at room temperature.

All cakes are stored in the fridge before pickup/delivery to ensure smooth transportation. However, please allow 1-3 hours for cakes to come to room temperature before serving. The texture of a cake can change if served too cold.

Cakes & cookies come with care instructions to help you with serving, storing and knowing the shelf life of each item.

How do I place an order?

Please start with making an enquiry here .Fill in some initial information (most importantly the date you need your cake and/or cookies for). I will then reply to you hopefully with confirmation of availability and request some additional information in order to finalise your order.

How far in advance do I need to place an order?

All bookings must be placed at least 4 weeks prior to the event. Best practice is to place an order as soon as you know when your event is, as dates can fill up quickly (especially weekends and holidays). However, if my calendar is not booked, orders may be made up to 4 weeks before the order date. Don’t hesitate to check with me to see if I can accommodate a specific date or even a last-minute order.

What is your payment policy?

All celebration cake orders require a non-refundable booking fee of £50 that needs to be paid within 7 days of the booking. For cake orders with less than 4 weeks’ notice the full cost of the cake must be paid at time of booking.

For cookie orders of £50 and less require a non-refundable booking fee of £20. Cookie orders beyond £50 require a non-refundable booking fee of £50. For cookie orders with less than 4 weeks’ notice the full cost must be paid at time of booking.

The final payment is due 2 weeks – 4 weeks before your event. All payments are to be made by BACS transfer.

What is your cancellation & alterations policy?

I am happy to make alterations to your cake and/or cookies design if notified up to 2 weeks prior to your event date.  This may be subject to an additional charge.

The booking fee is non-refundable and non-transferable in the event of cancellation. Cancellations from the date of booking until 2 weeks before the event will forfeit the booking fee. Cancellations with less than 2 weeks’ notice are subject to full payment.

What cookie flavours do you offer?

My cookies are classic vanilla sugar cookies. For orders during Halloween / Christmas time I also offer gingerbread cookies as an option.

Do you offer vegan and/or gluten free cakes?

Currently no but this is something I will aim to develop in the future.

Do you offer fondant cakes?

I do not offer fondant cakes, I specialise in buttercream and ganache.

What are your cake sizes?

I currently offer the below sizes for celebration cakes

Small scale cakes (5-5.5” tall)

5inch | serves 10*

6inch | serves 15*

Tall cakes (7-8” tall)

5inch | serves 20*

6inch | serves 30*

7inch | serves 40*

*serving numbers may vary depending on your own portioning

What is included in your prices?

Prices include all decorations I choose, such as fresh flowers, gold or silver leaf, and/or sprinkles.  Add-ons like birthday candles and cake toppers are also available and can be added to your order separately. See prices here.

Do you offer wedding cakes?

At the moment, I do not offer wedding cakes, but this is something I am looking to develop as my business grows. I understand the importance of a wedding cake in making your big day special, and I aim to collaborate with my clients to create the perfect cake when the time comes. My goal is to ensure a truly personalised experience that reflects your unique love story as I expand my offerings in the future.

Do you offer tastings?

I do not offer tasting boxes for celebration cakes, but there will be an option in the future for wedding cakes.

Sunday & Monday: Closed

Tuesday through Friday: 09:30 - 15:30

Saturday: 10:00 - 14:00

You are closed the day I need a cake, what can I do?

If you need a cake for Sunday or Monday when I am not working, you can arrange delivery / pick up of the cake on Saturday and the cake will still be great for the next couple of days! You will want to put the cake in the fridge, then take it out to room temperature about 1-3 hours before serving as it’s best served at room temperature.
